I can't imagine having that as my frame of reference for everything. I'll bet her boyfriend also watched Deadman Wonderland, didn't he?

Author Notes

She apparently thought all anime is like Attack on Titan.

This is pretty much how I started too- my first three animes were Wolf's Rain, Elfen Lied, and then Higurashi. It took me a LONG time to realize comedies and slice of life animes existed, too!
@Tijopi11: Ahhh Wolfs rain. That will always be my favourite.
Slice of life is the best!
My first few anime were Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Soul Eater, and Fruits Basket. Then I started watching a lot after stopping for a year.
I actually prefer action anime, I like Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, Soul Eater, Akame Ga Kill, Fairy Tail and Blue Exorcist.
I like how anime can apply to anyone cause there's so many types.

@TwilightUmbreon: Blue Exorcist is my favorite anime!
For me, I like to watch a lot of animes at once, so currently I am watching The Devil is a Part-Timer (the main looks like Rin Okumura!!), hunter x hunter, fairy tail, fma, and kazu no stigma. I finished blue exorcist, SAO 1, and soul eater. I do not watch any specific kind o anime :P and I watched Death Note too but it was spoiled and my fave character died so i stopped watching it
@Drizzt123: I LOVED THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER!!! Hilarious show. I also really like SAO, although I liked the first half of season 1 better than the second half.
@Falconer: I know! After that point, they just made it wierd O.o I am not very far in Devil is a Part-Timer, but I did just start Ouran High School Host Club! Why do I watch so many animes at once... Ah well!
@Drizzt123: LOVE Ouran Host Club! My roomie and I always watch it when we have a bad day and never get tired of it.
Typical...Typical...al of us devils are the same....if you can, give her the message from me: Welcome to hell muahahaha
seriously though...each fandom will swallow her up ;D
I love how in that last panel you almost literally take her under your wing.
Heh, even I watch some sappy animes or things that aren't fully violence. I almost feel bad for her. Almost.
I loved Black Butler, I had to stop because of a standby eye thing though.... Can you recommend an anime?
@Guest: Sure! Any particular genre you're interested in? :)
(I forgot to log in) @Falconer: I'm kinda interested in this romantic genre. I don't think I've seen it. I have seen Fruits Basket, Norigami, Ouran Host Club, and something Monster. These have been pretty romantic I think. I just want a new anime to watch because I have seen as much of Fairy Tail as Netflix would let me and ever since Hetalia was taken off I have felt a bit empty.
@Babe the Vaporeon: ToraDora! was the last one I watched and it was really good (good mixture of hilarity and seriousness). Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun is HILARIOUS and though no relationships are ever confirmed, it's one of my favorites. Your Lie in April isn't quite a full romance, although there is a little bit of a more subtly to it, but I really enjoyed it. That one is more of a drama (prepare to cry). A new one I'm watching is called MY love STORY!! So far only two episodes are out, but it is pretty funny! :)

Oh, did you mean My Little Monster? I still have to finish that one! It is on my list haha
@Falconer: Thank you so much! This is a lot of help.
Me: "I found an anime we might be interested in."

Husband: "Oh?"

Me: "It's called Deadman Wonderland. The first episode is really f*ed up, I'm curious to see where it goes."

I guess I'm not much for romantic comedies. xD Before that, we watched Death Note, and next is Psycho Pass.
@Ddraigeneth: lol Deadman Wonderland was pretty messed up...I didn't really care for it or Death Note. Although Death Note was more because I found the excessive monologue-ing in the comics boring haha I also don't really like gore very much so most of the time I'm like "noooo no thank you noooope"!
