"Good Luck With That"

You have ONE CHANCE OR YOU'RE SCREWED. How delightful. And let's make this as difficult as possible because that's perfect for people with mental health problems. They'll love that.

We'll see how it goes, I guess.

good luck, my friend!

I'm happy to hear you're trying to take this step, and whatever happens, you are taking control of it. Again I wish you luck <3
Need to borrow the $130? PM me.
@The_Hankerchief: My mom offered to pay if our insurance wouldn't, so no worries. :> Thanks for offering though!
Blah, that's a pain in the ass Falconer, I'm so sorry that you have to go through that kind of bull.

I hope it helps you out though, sometimes it just makes a world of difference talking things through. You know your fans are here for you though!
@Falconer: i heard once that when only one option remains thats the solution to the problem! :)
well hopefully it'll be good :)

THough I don't believe in needing a therapist but I believe needing a friend or family is just the same, I hope i'll be proven wrong xD
Maybe I got lucky, but I actually found a therapist that has a grad student under her and charges a sliding scale of $5-$20 without insurance. I just started going and it seems to be going well.

The big thing about therapy is finding someone who works the way you need, sadly I have heard many horror stories about therapists because instead of shopping around the person just took the first/cheapest one they could find.

I hope the one you have found works great for you. If not, have you looked into local colleges? They usually have therapists, or may have suggestions for ones to go to that have grad students at a discounted rate. A lot of people are leery about going to a student, but I have always found them to be more than helpful, as well as eager to prove themselves.

Good luck! Therapy can be a great thing for those that need it, I know it has helped me immensely.
I'm confused. Why would you complain you don't have to make an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CHOICE yourself? The world chose for you, have a just a little faith in its decisions. After all, it's been around for quite some time.

But seriously ― whoever you go to, is there to help you. As long as you both cooperate, things should get better. Cheering for you.
